Donald
Kay, M.D.
Donald M. Kay, MD, has been a practicing Dermatologist and Dermatologic surgeon in
the Burlingame area for 30 years. He is on the active staff at Mills-Peninsula Hospital and
serves as Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCSF. As well as being
certified by the American Board of Dermatology, he holds a Special Competence
Certificate in Dermatopathology.
Following undergraduate studies at UCLA, Dr. Kay received his M.D. degree from
UCSF in 1962. He then served a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Wadsworth VA Hospital in
Los Angeles, California, followed by three years of Dermatology residency at
University of California at San Francisco.

He is a member of many local, national and international Dermatologic societies and has
served on the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Medical Society. Dr. Kay is
also a community leader and has served seven years as an elected Trustee to the
Burlingame School District. He is an accomplished pianist and art collector and enjoys
skiing, hiking and travel.
