Karen
Keller, M.D.
Karen L. Keller, M.D. was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Dr. Keller completed her
undergraduate studies at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her M.D.
from the University of Miami School of Medicine and subsequently completed a year of
Internal Medicine Internship and three years of Dermatology Residency at the University of
South Florida.
After
completing her Residency, Dr. Keller practiced Dermatology in South Florida for six
months, and then followed her heart to the San Francisco Bay area. In February 1999, she
joined Peninsula Dermatology in Burlingame, California as a full-time Dermatologist,
certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Keller has had several articles
published concerning wound healing, skin cancers and vitamins, and has also served as
the Dermatology Chairperson for an international Internet Telesymposium.
Dr. Keller is a well-respected Member of

California Dermatologic Society.
She enjoys the
practice of general adult and pediatric Dermatology as well as her cosmetic practice, in
which she performs collagen and BOTOX® injections, sclerotherapy, chemical peels, and
laser removal of pigmented lesions and tattoos. During her free time, she likes to hike, ski,
read and travel with her husband, Rob and her 4 year old son Joshua and
6 month old son William.
Dr.
Keller has written a book "It's Bedtime, Joshua" where toddler
Joshua refuses to accept that his bedtime has arrived. To find out
