Silke Heinisch, M.D., PhD

Dr. Silke Heinisch is a dermatologist who provides medical and surgical dermatologic care to patients of all ages. She is originally from Philadelphia, and has been in California for several years enjoying the mountains and beaches while wearing sun protective clothing and sunscreen, and she encourages her patients to use sun protection year round as well.

She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Temple University School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine year at Pennsylvania Hospital and a dermatology residency training program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Heinisch is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is board certified in dermatology with fellowship training in pediatric dermatology from UC San Diego.

Dr. Heinisch focuses on medical dermatology with an interest in skin, hair, and nail inflammatory conditions and skin cancer treatments. She performs minor dermatologic surgical and cosmetic procedures as well.

She lives on the Peninsula and enjoys the natural beauty of the Bay Area by spending time with family and friends outdoors.
