Jennifer Sorrell, MD is a medical dermatologist with triple board certification in pediatrics, general and pediatric dermatology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Sorrell grew up in upstate New York and Maryland, and attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
She completed both her pediatrics and dermatology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, where she also gained two years of research experience as a clinical trials fellow. She then completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Columbia University in New York.
She has been practicing dermatology for almost 10 years. Dr. Sorrell enjoys treating all members of the family. She enthusiastically treats acne with a personalized approach, but also has a special interest in rosacea, as well as inflammatory conditions such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.
She values and encourages her patients to be active participants in their treatment plan. She lives on the Peninsula and is married with one son and a mini labradoodle. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, SoulCycle and pilates.
